Haniya Minhas: A Journey of Historic Achievements and Milestones

 

 

Saudi national team player Haniya Minhas continues to achieve historic milestones, establishing herself as one of the country’s brightest young tennis talents. 


At just 15 years old, Haniya reached a career-high ITF World Junior Ranking of No. 202, becoming the highest-ranked Saudi player in the history of the ITF junior rankings. 
She completed an outstanding 2025 season, recording 48 singles wins and only 8 losses while winning seven ITF junior titles in tournaments held in Accra, Islamabad, Colombo, and Adana. 
In June 2026, Haniya made her debut on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour at the W15 tournament in Kayseri, Türkiye, reaching the final round of qualifying and earning her first ITF World Tennis Tour Women's Ranking points. 


On the domestic stage, Haniya played a key role in leading AlUla Club to back-to-back Saudi Women’s Premier League titles in 2025 and 2026. 


Looking ahead, Haniya has been selected to represent Saudi Arabia at the upcoming Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, where she will compete in the Women’s Singles and Mixed Doubles events. 

 
Haniya’s journey reflects the rapid growth of Saudi tennis and the progress of women’s sport in the Kingdom. Her achievements continue to inspire the next generation of Saudi players to compete and succeed on the international stage.
